The Power of Nature

My toxin-free living journey began when one of my kids had a health scare. I was faced with the decision of really powerful medications that had serious side effects and as a mom I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. So I started to research and I discovered the incredible ability our bodies have to heal themselves. IF we would only stop overloading our systems with toxins AND provide it support to do what it was designed to. I discovered that when we are continually adding toxins to our body we bog it down and it spends all its time trying to clean that stuff up - and it has less of an opportunity to do what it should be doing - healing. That’s when reducing the toxic load in my home, what we use on our bodies, and what we eat became a priority for me!

I was introduced to doTERRA by a friend to aide in the supportive piece of the wellness puzzle and I was hooked! Their commitment to clean, safe, effective products and their focus on educating the consumer was a no-brainer for me. I feel so good knowing that the products we use help our bodies - not hinder them.

I started sharing my journey back in 2017 and I found that while I did find my fellow people, the majority of the folks I knew were just looking for ease and convenience because let’s face it life is fast paced and many of us are overloaded with responsibilities.

But a few years later everything changed for everyone. Today, more people are aware that what they put on and inside their bodies matter. There is a greater awareness of environmental toxicity and there is also a greater acceptance of and desire for natural solutions as opposed to traditional ones. And bonus! doTERRA has also evolved to provide convenience solutions that are safe and effective to aid us in our wellness pursuits while simultaneously providing ease of delivery and use. So awesome!

At my age, I am beginning to see the effects that culturally accepted ways of living are having a detrimental impact on the health of people I know and care about. These experiences have fueled my resolve to share a better way of living that doesn’t have a negative impact on our health.
